Stephen received a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette. After Purdue, Stephen worked as a manufacturing engineer for the Visteon Corporation. Stephen coordinated improvements of automotive gear straightening machinery, post heat treatment gear finishing machinery, and programmable material handling robotic systems. Stephen enforced corporate quality control requirements by designing part failure containment procedures and refurbishing part examination and transfer conveyor systems. In doing so, Stephen successfully worked with corporate clients to manage corporate manufacturing policy while observing safety standards and labor agreements.
Stephen attended the Valparaiso University Law School, where he mentored upcoming first year students in legal writing. During his time in law school, Stephen was an extern for and volunteered with the Circuit Court of Cook County. Following graduation, Stephen law clerked for the Honorable Judge Alexander P. White of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Stephen wrote over 160 recommended decisions for the court. As the law clerk, Stephen successfully guide externs and court personnel using a positive team based management style. In doing so, Stephen work to make sure the work product produced more than met the requirements of his customer, the court.
Stephen began working for Ryan Kromholz and Manion, S.C. in September of 2016. Stephen enjoys coaching his children’s youth athletics, political history, running half marathons, and traveling.
